If you have missing or inaccurate data, please go to Settings (your profile image top right), scroll down, and click “Clear cache & reload all data.” This will force the recalculation of all data in Tryon AI and might take a minute or two to reload fully.

If this doesn’t solve your issue, please report it as a bug here.

If your data is still missing after restarting the app and clearing cache, please check Apple Health to confirm that your other apps or devices are correctly writing their data to your device. If you see data in Apple Health and it is not being pulled in to Tryon AI, you should report this as a bug on our official feedback board. Otherwise, this may indicate an issue with another app or device.

Yes, Tryon AI Pro is eligible for Family Sharing.

While not required, it is recommended that you turn on AFib History on your Apple Watch so it can record more heart rate samples during sleep. However, please note that turning on AFib History could potentially disable high heart rate alerts on your Apple Watch, so proceed with caution.

If you just joined Tryon AI and your data is not populating into the app, please follow these steps:

Please note that you will need 2 full days of data from your Apple Watch before Tryon AI starts populating data like Stress and Recovery. If this doesn’t solve your issue, please report it as a bug here.

Since this is your first time using the watch app, it might take some time to sync enough baseline data on the Watch for your scores to be accurate. To force a sync, please force restart both the iOS and watch app.

Once all of your baselines are loaded, you can go without needing to open your phone to calculate scores on the watch.

You can check if your baseline data is synced by tapping the Gear icon in the Tryon AI Home View and selecting "Baseline." If the discrepancy persists for more than 24 hours, please let us know, please report it as a bug here.

Your Target Strain is determined by considering your recent Recovery Scores and activity levels. Depending on how well you've been recovering, Tryon AI will suggest a higher or lower target Strain than your activity baseline.

The numerical value displayed next to the activity icon represents your total strain for that specific activity. This value is then aggregated to calculate your overall strain score.

Please note that the Strain numbers do not add up linearly, since there a diminishing return function applied to Strain score.

Stress and Strain are two distinct concepts. Strain indicates your level of activity, while stress refers to your body's physiological reaction to external influences like illness, alcohol consumption, interpersonal conflicts, and so forth.

Active Strain results from activities that are manually logged as an exercise in Apple Health. Passive Strain is calculated from movement data like walking, which may not be logged in Apple Health. These activities will not appear in your activity tab but will be fed into the Strain algorithm to calculate a Strain Score that will be added to your total for the day.

Calories are calculated as a sum of Apple HealthKit's recorded "activeEnergyBurned" and "basalEnergyBurned" fields which take samples throughout the day if you are wearing a watch.

Cardio Load will update in real-time, so you'll be able to see the data move after each workout.

In the interest of maintaining data integrity, Tryon AI doesn't filter out any duplicated entries from your Activities list. Therefore, whatever is present in your Apple Health app will be displayed in Tryon AI. We suggest disabling write access to Apple Health from devices you don't want to contribute to this data.

Though you will see the duplicate activities in your Activities list, these duplicate sessions will be deduped and will not not affect metrics like Strain score or heart rate zone time. If you do notice your Strain score being double-counted, please submit this as a bug report here.

Your target strain is determined based on your recent recoveries and strain baseline. If you've been recovering well in the last few days, Tryon AI will suggest a higher target strain from your baseline. Conversely, if your recent recoveries are low, it will suggest a lower target strain.

Recovery Score is a metric that assesses how prepared your body is for the day ahead. It considers several factors like heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR), etc. – all monitored during sleep. Unlike other metrics, the recovery score remains constant throughout the day, allowing you to track your historical recovery levels and understand how well you've been recuperating each day.

Recovery data will begin to appear after you've completed two full nights of sleep.

If you still don't see the data after the second night, check the Apple Health app to confirm that your Apple Watch and/or other wearables are accurately recording your sleep data. For best results, it is recommended to wear your Apple Watch during both sleep and daytime activities.

Tryon AI calculates your Sleep Score based on various factors, including duration spent in different sleep stages, heart rate dip, and total time spent asleep.

Tryon AI calculates your Stress Score by analyzing various metrics including heart rate (HR), resting heart rate (RHR), maximum heart rate (max HR), heart rate variability (HRV), and motion data.

Stress data will begin to appear after you've completed two full nights of sleep.

Non-Activity Stress - It is a measure of how your body handles stress during typical Day-to-day activities while Active Stress tracks your stress score specifically during Physical Activities

Tryon AI offers two methods for measuring HRV. The first one uses the HRV values recorded by your Apple Watch. According to Apple, these values are calculated using the Standard Deviation of NN Intervals (SDNN) method.

The second is the Root Mean Square of Successive Differences (RMSSD) method. This method uses R-R intervals from your Apple Watch to calculate HRV and is also the default method that Tryon AI uses. The RMSSD method is considered to be more accurate for calculating short-term recovery.

If you use the RMSSD method in Tryon AI, the app will also apply a data-cleaning function to filter out noisy samples from your Apple Watch.

It is important to note that the HRV used for Recovery is different from the HRV used for Stress. Given that your Recovery is meant to serve as a baseline that can be compared from one day to another, Tryon AI prioritizes standardizing how we collect HRV for Recovery. Therefore, the HRV used for Recovery is consistently calculated during sleep sessions while the HRV used for Stress is collected throughout the day.

There are a few reasons for why you may see differences in HRV between Tryon AI and other apps:

That said, what's most important when tracking HRV is that the formula behind your measurements is reliable. Once you're comfortable with the method your tracker uses, you should track the same number over time instead of comparing them to different trackers.

Currently, HRV is calculated by averaging values during the deepest parts of your sleep. Therefore, you do not need to perform a Breath session in the morning for Tryon AI to calculate your HRV.

For the most accurate HRV values, it is recommended to turn on AFib History. However, please note that turning on AFib History could potentially disable high heart rate alerts on your Apple Watch, so proceed with caution.

If you want to use HRV during mindfulness sessions, you can turn it on by going to Tryon AI settings → Calculations → Enable Mindfulness Session.

This method is not necessarily more accurate for everyone. If you can consistently practice mindfulness, it might provide better data. However, if your mindfulness sessions vary, It is better to stick with the default setting for more reliable readings.

Sometimes, making changes within the app (e.g. updating your sleep goal) will prompt Tryon AI to clear cached data and recalculate all metrics. In these cases, you might notice a syncing delay between your Apple Watch and iPhone. You can force the two to sync by restarting the Tryon AI app on both your Apple Watch and iPhone.

You can determine synchronization status by scrolling down in the watch app. If you see 30 days of data reflected in your graphs, your apps are synced. However, if you only see 7 days of historical data, synchronization is incomplete.

The update time for complications is controlled by the Watch OS for battery optimization. You should see it updated every 5-30 minutes throughout the day and a bit less frequently at night. If you experience a delay in syncing beyond this range, please report it as a bug here.

Occasionally, the synchronization process between your watch and phone may take some time, which is a limitation of watchOS.

To prompt synchronization, try closing and reopening both the iOS and Apple Watch apps. This action should force the watch to sync with the phone. If it doesn't work immediately, give it some more time and it will sync on its own.
